Olympia Opens to the Public After Its Kensington Rebuild

The Grade II-listed west London exhibition halls reopened as a mixed-use district with rooftop restaurants, offices, two hotels and the 3,800-capacity British Airways ARC music venue, which launched the following night. The GBP 1.3 billion transformation, designed by Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC, opens the 14-acre site to the public for the first time in 140 years; the 1,575-seat British Airways Theatre follows in 2027.
