Shanghai Grand Opera House Opens on the Huangpu River
The 146,000-square-metre building in Expo Culture Park, designed by ECADI with Snohetta as a spiralling Chinese folding fan, holds the 2,000-seat Harmony Hall, the 1,200-seat Soar Theatre and the 1,000-seat Open Stage, 4,200 seats in all.
