Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas, the largest cruise ship ever built, entered service out of Miami after roughly two and a half years of construction in Finland.

Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas, built by Meyer Turku in Finland, entered service on 27 January 2024 from PortMiami, after being christened on 23 January (naming gala on 26 January) with Lionel Messi^[2][3]
At 248,663 GT and 364.75 m long it is the largest cruise ship by gross tonnage, with 20 decks and 5,610 passengers at double occupancy (7,600 maximum) and 2,350 crew^[2]
