The revived Palm Jebel Ali masterplan covers 1,700 villas and 6,000 apartments for about 35,000 families across seven fronds, up to twice the size of Palm Jumeirah. Villa construction is running on all 12 residential fronds, with the island as a whole targeted for 2028.

Dubai developer Nakheel had local authorities approve a new master plan for Palm Jebel Ali, reviving the shelved artificial island as a bigger sequel to Palm Jumeirah with the first villas due from 2027 and the project targeted for completion at the end of 2028.
