What each year added up to: salary, plus outside income, royalties, endorsements, prizes and investment income where a source reports them. A financial disclosure gives ranges, shown as such.
Health, weight and religion appear only where the person, their physician or a reputable outlet has published them; each links to its source.
One octagon for each phase of the life of George W. Bush. Each of the eight axes is scored 0 to 5 against a written rubric from documented evidence, with its source; an axis without evidence is a gap, not a zero. There is no total and no ideal shape: it is a profile, not a ranking. Appearance and personality are not axes, because they cannot be scored from evidence.
No total and no ideal shape: a longer spoke means more of that axis, so a long Misconduct spoke is more documented misconduct.

CBO (2014) found Part D spending in 2013 was roughly half of what it projected in 2003, with lower spending where more plan sponsors competed; the program is nonetheless an unfunded entitlement, and CBO estimated Medicaid net drug prices 27 to 38 percent below Part D's. Analysts dispute how much of the shortfall reflects competition rather than slower national drug spending.
[7]Gale and Potter (National Tax Journal, 2002) concluded the 2001 tax cut would reduce the size of the future economy, raise interest rates, make taxes more regressive and be fiscally unsustainable as written; other analysts emphasised its supply-side incentive effects, so the growth sign is disputed.
[11]Bendavid et al. (JAMA 2012) found adult mortality odds 0.84 (95% CI 0.72-0.99) in PEPFAR focus countries versus non-focus African countries, with an estimated 740,800 deaths averted 2004-2008 (wide CI); a 3ie replication reproduced the result but found it borderline once covariates were added, and an earlier study found no significant effect.

Only documented official actions are counted: findings, penalties and settlements, and cases still open. A charge or an investigation is not a finding, cases that ended in the person's favour are listed as such, and it is not a judgment of character.
