Governor of Oregon[1]
Tina Kotek is the governor of Oregon, a Democrat sworn in on January 9, 2023, after serving in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2007 to 2022, including nine years as Speaker. She won the May 2026 Democratic primary for governor and is seeking a second term.
What each year added up to: salary, plus outside income, royalties, endorsements, prizes and investment income where a source reports them. A financial disclosure gives ranges, shown as such.
Health, weight and religion appear only where the person, their physician or a reputable outlet has published them; each links to its source.
One octagon for each phase of the life of Tina Kotek. Each of the eight axes is scored 0 to 5 against a written rubric from documented evidence, with its source; an axis without evidence is a gap, not a zero. There is no total and no ideal shape: it is a profile, not a ranking. Appearance and personality are not axes, because they cannot be scored from evidence.
No total and no ideal shape: a longer spoke means more of that axis, so a long Misconduct spoke is more documented misconduct.
Glaeser and Gyourko (Journal of Economic Perspectives, 2018) find the evidence suggests, but does not prove, that the implicit tax created by housing regulation exceeds any reasonable construction externality, so loosening single-family zoning removes a distortion; a study of Chicago upzoning (Freemark, Urban Affairs Review 2019) found higher property values but no additional permitted dwellings within five years, so supply gains from reform are slow and uncertain.

Only documented official actions are counted: findings, penalties and settlements, and cases still open. A charge or an investigation is not a finding, cases that ended in the person's favour are listed as such, and it is not a judgment of character.
