Annual global passenger traffic growth measured in revenue passenger kilometres (RPK), not passenger headcount. June 2026 outlook reflects fuel costs and airspace disruption; it is not a tourism-arrivals forecast. History: Total industry RPK growth vs previous year as first reported in IATA's annual press releases (later outlooks may revise, e.g. 2024 to about 10.6); 2023 reflects pandemic-recovery base effects.
