Metro's D Line Subway Extension Opens Its First Three Stations
LA Metro opened Section 1 of the D Line subway extension, carrying the Wilshire Boulevard subway 3.9 miles west of Wilshire/Western to new stations at La Brea, Fairfax and La Cienega. It is the line's first extension since 1996 and the first of three sections Metro wants running before the 2028 Olympics.
