Los Angeles Breaks Ground on Its Convention Center Expansion

Work began on a 190,000-square-foot addition that joins the South and West exhibit halls into one contiguous hall of more than 750,000 square feet, plus new meeting and multipurpose space. Construction pauses in 2028 so the centre can host Olympic fencing, taekwondo, wrestling and table tennis, with final completion in 2029.
