Seoul's long-troubled giant Ferris wheel, now called Seoulling, is targeting a 2028 opening at Peace Park after two earlier wheel designs were scrapped.

Seoul is rebuilding about 350,000 sq m around the Jamsil Sports Complex in Songpa-gu as Korea's largest domed baseball stadium seating 30,000, an 11,000-seat sports hall, 89,000 sq m of exhibition space, 19,000 sq m of convention facilities, hotels and offices. The concessionaire is Seoul Smart MICE Park, led by Hanwha E&C, and the cost is 2.7 trillion won at 2016 prices, about 3.3 trillion won in 2025 terms.
