MARTA's own project page states that "The first phase of service began April 18, 2026," with construction to be completed and final revenue service to begin in Fall 2026.[1]MARTA started service on the Rapid A-Line, a five-mile route with 14 new stations linking downtown Atlanta to Capitol Gateway, Summerhill, Peoplestown and the BeltLine's Southside Trail, much of it in dedicated bus lanes. Construction continues along the corridor, with temporary stops standing in at five stations until final revenue service in the autumn.
