Pierrot's Boruto: Naruto Next Generations closed its first part at episode 293 with word that a second part was in development, setting up an eventual adaptation of the Two Blue Vortex era.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Part 1 by Pierrot ran 293 episodes on TV Tokyo from 5 April 2017 to 26 March 2023, and a second part was announced to be in development^[2]
