It is curated by Wang Shu and Lu Wenyu, who founded Amateur Architecture Studio in 1997 and established the Architecture Department at the China Academy of Art in 2003^[2]
The theme is "Do Architecture - For the Possibility of Coexistence Facing a Real Reality", inviting work on coexistence between nature and artifice, innovation and memory, and contemporary design and local cultures^[1]
