Gemini 4 Argon Released to Paying Users
Google began rolling out Gemini 4 Argon on October 13 to paid API customers and Pro and Ultra Gemini app subscribers. Introductory API pricing is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens through November 30.
- The October 13 rollout expands access beyond September’s trusted cybersecurity testers. Business Insider says the released version uses the previously announced benchmarks.[1][3]
- Paid access includes the Gemini API; Pro and Ultra subscribers get the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search, while Antigravity access is offered to Ultra subscribers.[2]
- API launch rates are $2 input and $10 output per million tokens, with cached input discounted 95%. After the introductory period expires November 30, rates become $4/$20.[2]
- The API supports a unified input-output limit of one million tokens.[2]
