CEDD's 3.4 km dual two-lane Trunk Road T2, of which about 3.1 km is tunnel, links the Central Kowloon Bypass at Kai Tak to the Tseung Kwan O-Lam Tin Tunnel, commissioning Route 6 in full as an east-west express link between West Kowloon and Tseung Kwan O. The main construction contract alone is worth HK$10.918 billion.
