Mitsui Fudosan's consortium is rebuilding the 190,000 sq m former Tsukiji fish market site in Chuo City as nine buildings totalling about 1,170,000 sq m, including an all-weather multifunctional venue for roughly 50,000 people, a theatre hall, a culinary centre and a waterbus terminal. The whole scheme is costed at about 900 billion yen.
