The Academy of Country Music's own YouTube[2] upload of the night is titled "'On The Other Hand' - Randy Travis wins ACM Single Record of the Year, April 6, 1987", and Wikipedia's[3] ceremony page also gives April 6, 1987; the ACM winners database files these awards under 1986, the year of the nominated work, so the 22nd show carries a 1986 label there. The 22nd Academy of Country Music Awards were held on 6 April 1987 at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, hosted by The Judds and Patrick Duffy on NBC; Hank Williams Jr. took Entertainer of the Year and Randy Travis won four awards, including Album, Single and Song of the Year.
