Estimated: the 3 Floyds[1] history timeline reads 'Dreadnaught is born' under a 1997 marker graphic, but the entry text itself carries no year and no day or month is given, so 1 January 1997 stands for the year.Three Floyds' own timeline marks 1997 as the birth of Dreadnaught, an Imperial IPA the brewery calls the first east of the Mississippi, now listed at 9.5% ABV and 100 IBU.
