Two sources agree on the day. Honolulu Magazine[1] published on 6 February 2023 under the headline "Stix Asia[2] Food Hall Now Open With 13 Restaurants in Waikiki", with the standfirst "Waikiki's revamped Asian food hall grand opens today". The Honolulu Star-Advertiser[4] had trailed it on 31 January: "Hawaii's premier Asian food hall is grand opening Feb. 6."Hawaii's Asian food hall grand opens with 13 of a planned 17 restaurants in the basement of Waikiki Shopping Plaza, taking over the shuttered Waikiki Yokocho. It opens on National Chopsticks Day, and by mid-2023 the line-up has grown to 16 stalls.
