Archbald 25 Developer LLC, linked to Western Hospitality Partners, proposes Project Gravity, a seven-building data center campus on about 186 acres of mine-spoiled land between Business Route 6 and Eynon-Jermyn Road in Archbald, Lackawanna County. The developer told the state it expects to invest $5 billion and create 300 permanent jobs, but it has no tenant and no final land development approval. Pennsylvania ended the project's Fast Track status in April 2026, and the Valley View School District and residents are challenging it in court.

Green Mountain 6, LLC has proposed a data center campus on former Stavola Quarry land above the Casey Highway. This campus will include seven two-story data center buildings with footprints of 138,000 SF (each building 276,000 GSF) with accessory back-up generator yards, a PP&L-owned switchyard, a customer substation, and extended detention basins. Due to similarities between Archbald's Project Green Mountain and Project Gravity, it is suspected that it that Green Mountain 6 is affiliated with Western Hospitality Partners, although this has not yet been confirmed.

PNK Group, a NYC-based developer with Russian affiliation, has expressed interest in developing a 44.5-acre site along Archbald Heights Road into a data center. In mid-July, the company published a public survey in an effort to gauge local interest in this development. Currently, there is little information about capacity figures or whether or not an application has been submitted to Archbald Borough.
