Congonhas Airport's New Terminal Due to Finish in June 2028

Aena is doubling the boarding and arrivals area to 105,000 square metres and replacing the airport's 12 airbridges with 19, so that 70 per cent of boardings are direct to the aircraft. A new 215,000-square-metre apron takes commercial aircraft stands from 30 to 37 and lifts capacity to 29.5 million passengers a year; work began in 2024.
