São Paulo Metro's Line 2-Green Set to Reach Penha in 2028

The 8.3 km eastern extension adds eight stations from Vila Prudente out to Penha and will make Line 2-Green the network's longest at 23 km. The first four stations, Orfanato, Santa Clara, Anália Franco and Vila Formosa, are due in 2027, and the São Paulo state government puts the whole extension at R$15 billion.
