The 4.5 km four-lane elevated road ties the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link at Sewri to the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and the Coastal Road at Worli, crossing the Central and Western Railway lines near Prabhadevi on a double-decker structure whose lower deck replaces the 112-year-old Elphinstone road over bridge, closed to traffic in September 2025.
