RER E Reaches Mantes-la-Jolie on Its Western Extension

Four trains an hour will run through to Mantes-la-Jolie over the 47 km of rebuilt track west of Nanterre-La Folie, where Eole's first new section opened in May 2024. The full six-trains-an-hour service is not due until the end of 2029 because of trouble installing the line's new digital signalling and switching system.
