Filming ran at Hengdian from 29 June 2025 for more than 150 days, the drama was pulled from the 2026 summer slot for more post-production, and a new trailer was shown at iQIYI's iJOY conference on 23 September 2026. Bloggers say it is tentatively set for November (others say the winter holiday); Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, by the same director and producer, premiered about 10 months after wrapping. This uses mid-November 2026, about 11.5 months after the wrap. Re-date once the platforms announce the date.[1]
来战 (Lai Zhan, "Fated Master and Disciple") is a xianxia drama starring Ju Jingyi (鞠婧祎) as the orphan A Dai and Zhang Yunlong (张云龙) as Xiao Yihan, the idle immortal who becomes her master and then her enemy. Adapted from 九鹭非香's novel 师父心塞 and filmed at Hengdian in 2025, it will stream on Tencent Video and iQIYI. No air date has been announced, so the premiere shown here is an estimate.
