Nestlé's first-half organic growth reached 3.6% and volumes (RIG) improved to 1.8% in the second quarter, but net profit fell 31.4% to CHF 3.5 billion on restructuring and a CHF 1.3 billion write-down of businesses it is selling. It kept its 3% to 4% growth guidance for 2026.

Nestlé will put S.Pellegrino, Perrier, Acqua Panna, Nestlé Pure Life and its other waters and premium beverages into Peranel, a 50:50 joint venture with Platinum Equity valued at EUR 4.9 billion. Nestlé expects about EUR 3.0 billion in cash at closing, due in the first half of 2027.
