Armstrong and Samuel Lewis ("Lew") Wallick, Jr., made the first flight of the prototype Model 757 airliner'; the Seattle Times[5] also dates it 19 Feb.On 19 February 1982 Boeing's prototype 757-200, N757A, took off from Renton and landed at Paine Field after 2 hours 31 minutes, with an air restart of the number 2 engine on the way. It had been rolled out on 13 January 1982.
