Salesforce signed a deal to buy the data-management company Informatica for $25 a share in cash, about $8 billion in equity value, to feed trusted enterprise data to its Agentforce AI agents.

Salesforce opened fiscal 2026 with $9.8 billion of first-quarter revenue, up 8%, and raised the top of its full-year forecast by $400 million, a day after agreeing to buy Informatica.

Salesforce lined up $6 billion of unsecured term loans, a $4 billion 364-day facility and a $2 billion three-year facility with JPMorgan as agent, to pay part of the cash for its $8 billion Informatica purchase.

Salesforce's third fiscal quarter brought $10.3 billion of revenue, up 9%, a backlog of $59.5 billion and Agentforce ARR above $500 million, and it lifted its full-year outlook after closing Informatica.

Salesforce closed fiscal 2026 with $41.5 billion of revenue, up 10%, authorised a new $50 billion buyback, lifted its dividend 5.8% to $0.44 and raised its FY2030 target to $63 billion.
