The transaction is subject to the customary conditions and is expected to close during H1-26"; Daily Coffee News^[4] calls this "the first direct confirmation from any of the companies involved that a sales agreement was reached".

Nestlé agreed to sell Blue Bottle Coffee, bought in 2017, to Centurium Capital, the biggest shareholder of China's Luckin Coffee, with the deal expected to close in the first half of 2026. The sale covers Blue Bottle's more than 100 cafes and most of its packaged-coffee business; Nestlé keeps the Blue Bottle Nespresso pods.
