~~Blue Spruce Storage LLC advanced NYISO Zone J~~C24-005 is a 300 MW battery storage interconnection filings for the Blue Spruce Clean Energy Storage Center in Bronx County, New York. Supplies 300 MW / 1,200 MWh of utility-scale four-hour battery energy storage in the South Bronx industrial waterfront zone. Represents an estimated 360 million USD investment in zero-emission urban grid reliability. Interconnects directly with Consolidated Edison's 345 kV and 138 kV Mott Haven / Hell Gate transmission network. Displaces high-emitting combustion turbine peaker plants while supporting New York's Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) mandates. Timeline: planned 300 MW urban battery storage center targeting commercial operation in December 2028 (estimated) per NYISO interconnection queue filings.request in Bronx, NY. The grid operator lists its queue status as Active interconnection request. The requested in-service date is 2028-08-01; this is a planning date. The point of interconnection is Mott Haven 138KV Bus. Queue processing status does not establish physical construction or commercial operation. No exact-scope construction budget is published in the cited grid record. Battery power is distinct from stored energy; no four-hour duration or battery MWh is inferred. The requested commercial-operation month is 2028-08; the first day is a month-precision timeline anchor. The workbook separately lists 1200 MWh and 4 hours; those are proposed values, not operating measurements.
