Europa-Park Opens in Rust, Germany
- Europa-Park opened on 12 July 1975 on 16 hectares of castle gardens in Rust, Baden-Wurttemberg, after the Mack family's 1972 US tour[2][3]
- It was first planned for Breisach before moving about 30 km north to Rust[3]
