The last section of the 57.7-kilometre Mexico-Toluca commuter railway, from Santa Fe into the rebuilt Observatorio terminal, was inaugurated, finishing a line that had been opening in stages from Zinacantepec since 2023. Its estimated cost climbed from $38.6 billion MXN in 2014 to $73.72 billion MXN by 2019.
