Lufthansa took delivery of its first Airbus A350-900 from Airbus's Toulouse delivery centre, the initial aircraft of a 25-jet order that became the backbone of its new Munich long-haul hub. The A350 entered scheduled service two months later, flying Munich to Delhi.
