The final structural beam went in at the top of the 660-foot guitar-shaped hotel tower, built on the former site of the Mirage's volcano and holding 675 of the resort's rooms. The $4 billion Hard Rock Las Vegas is a full rebuild of the Mirage, which closed on 17 July 2024, and is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2027.
