This three-episode special bridges The King's Avatar's two seasons by following retired professional gamer Ye Xiu as a spectator rather than a competitor at Glory's All-Star Tournament, watching alongside teammates Tang Rou and Chen Guo. Colored Pencil Animation uses the lower-stakes setting to spotlight the wider cast of professional players introduced across the main series, while Ye Xiu finds his attempt to stay out of the spotlight tested anyway.
