WTO Fisheries Subsidies Committee Meets for the Second Time
- The Committee on Fisheries Subsidies, which monitors the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies in force since 15 September 2025, set its next regular meeting for the week of 26 October 2026[4]
- At its first meeting on 1 May 2026 it adopted rules of procedure, and its chair Ana Laura Lizano of Costa Rica urged members to file their notifications; 12 had filed on their regional fisheries bodies and 119 members had accepted the Agreement[4]
