Tamiya's Countach 5000S TT-02 Limited Edition R/C Kit Arrives around 21 November
- Tamiya's 1/10 R/C Lamborghini Countach 5000S (TT-02 chassis), item 47527, is a limited edition (R/C Limited Edition No. 227) priced at 20,900 yen including tax (19,000 yen excluding tax)[1][2]
- Tamiya's pages are current as of 1 October 2026 and say specifications, prices and release dates may change without notice[1][2]
- It is announced alongside the Cheetah (2026) and the Falcon (2026) R/C kits; the announcement gives no price or release date[3]
- The Countach debuted as a prototype in 1971, the first production LP400 followed in 1974, and by 1982 it had evolved into the 5000S with a 5-litre engine, about 320 of which were built through 1985[1][2][3]
Notable features
- It pairs the Countach 5000S with Tamiya's TT-02 chassis, a shaft-driven 4WD layout with a lengthwise battery on the left and the motor on the right for balance[1][2][3]
- The body's wheel arches are pre-cut and its body-mount holes are pre-made[1][2]
- Size is 445 mm long, 203 mm wide and 117 mm high, with a 257 mm wheelbase[3]
- The existing body is 1.0 mm polycarbonate, with separate white plastic parts for the side mirrors and rear wing and metal-plated light cases; LED lights are sold separately[3]
- It has 5-hole dish wheels with tread-pattern racing radial tyres, plus stickers and masking stickers for painting[3]
- The TT-02 shares left and right suspension arms and uprights for easier assembly and has a split gear case for maintenance[1][2]
- Parts swaps give 2 wheelbases, 2 ground clearances and 2 treads, and the motor mount offers 10 gear ratios[1][2]
- The kit includes an ESC and a torque-tuned motor; a transmitter, receiver, servo, battery, charger, body paint and tools are needed[3]

Something missing or wrong? Say it in your own words: a link that backs this pin up, a different start or end date and why, or a fact it lacks or gets wrong. The AI checks it against this pin's sources, searches for better ones, and adds any page that backs you up. The pin's own sources still count most. A picture that shows something else, or shows it badly, is looked at too, and moved down or replaced.
