Ocean Beach Climate Adaptation Project Starts Major Construction

The SFPUC's project will bury a 3,200-foot seawall to protect the Lake Merced wastewater tunnel, remove the eroding Great Highway Extension between Sloat and Skyline and build a mile of seaside trail; its start has slipped from 2023-24 to late 2029.
