Amazon's $20 Minimum Starting Pay Takes Effect

A $1-an-hour raise lifts minimum starting pay for Amazon's U.S. full-time core operations employees to $20, with average pay nearly $24 an hour, part of a more than $1.5 billion investment in higher pay. A 10% employee grocery discount and a lifetime banking benefit come with it.
