The first entry is always the pin's source. Overall confidence is a weighted average of how firmly each reference supports the start and end times used above; a reference counts half as much for every 180 days older than the newest.
Streetsblog's[3] report of 24 August 2026 on the new mayoral plan - 'Construction will start in 2030, wrap up in 2040', a 10-year $4 billion rebuild - is newer than the NYC[2] DOT project page's 2029 start, which is where the pin's earlier date came from. No day is given, so it is dated to the last day of 2030.
Something missing or wrong? Say it in your own words: a link that backs this pin up, a different start or end date and why, or a fact it lacks or gets wrong. The AI checks it against this pin's sources, searches for better ones, and adds any page that backs you up. The pin's own sources still count most.
Westinghouse announced the launch of a small version of its flagship AP1000 nuclear reactor on Thursday.
The new reactor, called the AP300, aims to be available in 2027, and will generate about a third of the power as the flagship AP1000 reactor, enough to power about 300,000 homes.
It’s expected to cost about $1 billion to set up each plant, a small fraction of the expense of the full AP1000.
