Airways: 'Today, in 1982, the first Boeing 767 (N606UA) was delivered to United Airlines' with Malcolm Stamper handing it to Richard Ferris at Everett; Flight's milestone list also shows the first delivery in August 1982.[1]On 19 August 1982 Boeing handed the first 767 (N606UA, ninth off the line) to United Airlines at its Everett plant. United put it into service on 8 September as flight UA1767 from Chicago to Denver.
