HUD's LIHTC database records Academy Place (NJA20130428) as placed in service in 2013 with a 2013 credit allocation and bond financing; no source opened gives a reopening day. Earlier research cited 2013 Trenton Times coverage of the reopening and a 15-building renovation; neither could be re-opened or confirmed in this pass, and a search-result snippet of a June 2014 GlobeSt report of a ribbon-cutting could not be opened (HTTP 403), so the pin stays at the end of 2013 as an estimate.[1]
40 renovated historic-district apartments and townhomes (23 two-, 15 three- and 2 four-bedroom) at Academy Place near downtown Trenton and the State House, financed with bonds and tax credits and placed in service in 2013; Pennrose manages the Qualified Census Tract community.
