The first entry is always the pin's source. Overall confidence is a weighted average of how firmly each reference supports the start and end times used above; a reference counts half as much for every 180 days older than the newest.
Happened as dated, per the pin description: "Report: Haswell-E, X99, DDR4 to Arrive August 29. Expect three CPUs to arrive: The Core i7-5…"
Wikipedia's Haswell article lists the Core i7-5960X (8 cores, 3.0/3.5 GHz, 20 MB L3, 140 W, $999, August 29, 2014), 5930K ($583) and 5820K ($389) on LGA 2011-v3 with up to quad-channel DDR4-2133.
Guru3D's own headline, "Intel Core i7 Haswell-E and X99 Motherboards Launch Date Revealed," carries a stored publish date of 14 August 2014 - an advance report two weeks ahead of the pin's stored 29 August launch date, consistent with the pin's own "Report:" framing, though a 403 error blocked retrieval of the article text.
TechSpot reports "Intel will launch their enthusiast Haswell-E processors alongside the new X99 chipset on August 29th," directly matching the pin's stored date, published as an advance report on 14 August 2014.
Something missing or wrong? Say it in your own words: a link that backs this pin up, a different start or end date and why, or a fact it lacks or gets wrong. The AI checks it against this pin's sources, searches for better ones, and adds any page that backs you up. The pin's own sources still count most. A picture that shows something else, or shows it badly, is looked at too, and moved down or replaced.
