NVIDIA Launches DSX Ready to Qualify AI Factory Power and Cooling

A qualification program for partner products that meet NVIDIA's DSX AI factory reference design, launching with battery storage from Hitachi Energy, LG Energy Solution and Tesla and coolant distribution units from LG Electronics, LiquidStack and Vertiv.

NVIDIA introduced DSX Ready, a qualification program for partner products and solutions that meet applicable NVIDIA DSX AI factory reference design requirements^[1]
It launches with two categories, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and coolant distribution units (CDUs); more categories across infrastructure and software will follow over time^[1]
First qualified: BESS from Hitachi Energy, LG Energy Solution and Tesla, and CDUs from LG Electronics, LiquidStack and Vertiv^[1]
BESS makers run the required tests and submit data for NVIDIA's review and approval; CDU makers use a self-qualification suite against NVIDIA's functional requirements. Qualification does not replace site-level engineering^[1]
