A 12 September 2026 schedule round-up on Weibo[4] lists 谷雨 among October titles on the platforms' slates whose slot is not final, and Youku's channels released two new trailers on 16 September, the usual run-up to a premiere. This places it in the second half of October, on 19 October 2026. It wrapped in April 2025, and Li Lu's In the Name of the People aired 10 months after wrapping, so this drama is already later than that. CCTV[6]-1 slots often move, so the date could slip. Re-date when CCTV or Youku announce it.
谷雨 (Gu Yu, "The Silent Storm") is Li Lu's 40-episode crime drama about a 1990s tax-fraud and organised-crime investigation, starring Jing Boran (井柏然) as a tax inspector, Sun Yizhou (孙艺洲) and Zhang Songwen (张颂文) as the head of a tax-fraud ring. It will stream exclusively on Youku and air in CCTV-1 prime time. No date has been announced, so the premiere shown here is an estimate.
