The most expensive stadium ever built opened as the new home of the LA Rams and Chargers, with its first NFL game days later.

The NFL's 61st championship game is set for 14 February 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the ninth Super Bowl staged in greater Los Angeles. On 20 September 2026 Kalshi's futures market was unusually flat: Buffalo and the Los Angeles Rams led at about 12% each, with Baltimore, San Francisco, Kansas City and Seattle bunched at 7-8%.
