Porsche Starts Production of the Taycan in Zuffenhausen
- Porsche opened a new Taycan production facility at Zuffenhausen and began series production of customer cars on schedule on 9 September 2019[3][4][5]
- Construction took under 48 months, starting at the end of 2015 after the September 2015 Mission E concept; it includes a new body shop, paint shop, electric-motor and component plant and assembly hall, with 35,000 tonnes of steel and 170,000 m2 of buildings[3][5]
