Dutch Court Bars Lidl From Selling Birkenstock Lookalike Sandals
The District Court of Gelderland in Arnhem ruled that Lidl's sandals copy the copyrighted footbed design of Birkenstock's Arizona, Madrid, Gizeh, Boston and Florida and ordered Lidl to stop selling them in the Netherlands on pain of EUR 5,000 a day.
